State Superintendent, Chris Reykdal, announced on
January 10 that Washington State's Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Consolidated Plan will not be
submitted to the Federal Department of Education until September 18,
2017. Public comment on the plan can be submitted here;
closes February 13.
